For the past several years the Pine Mountain Lake Men’s Club and Golf Shop has held a Veteran’s Day golf tournament to honor the veterans and their families in our community and to raise whatever money we can to benefit the the Fisher House Foundation. Fisher Houses provide comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one in a VA hospital. The nearest Fisher House is in Palo Alto and 100 percent of the funds raised in the Pine Mountain Lake tournament go directly to the Palo Alto facility.
